I created my first short film, 100% AI-generated. After three years of producing ultra-short content for social media, I’m proud to finally share my first short film, “BURN”. This film was created as part of the @promptclub.ai x @mediawan.officiel challenge: producing a 3-minute film around the theme FICTION, premiered at Mediawan’s offices, and now available on my channels! Through this project, I discovered a new kind of pleasure: a different way of creating and storytelling, while weaving in my conscious inspirations, such as Ari Aster and Vince Gilligan. I’ll let you discover the beast. I hope you enjoy it, and I’d love to hear your feedback in the comments! 💭 LINK IN BIO.
This short works as a release announcement rather than a narrative excerpt from the film itself. The visual idea is simple and strong: physical VHS tapes marked with the title are literally set on fire, turning the movie name into a memorable metaphor. The retro cassette format gives the promo an analog horror texture, while the controlled lighting, drifting smoke, and close-up flames make it feel premium and cinematic instead of like a casual post. The progressive text reveals are well paced, first establishing the creator credit, then the title, then the fact that it is an AI short film, and finally the release call to action. It is effective because the imagery is immediately readable, the fire adds urgency and danger, and the entire piece builds a distinct identity for the film in just a few seconds.
